Privacy Policy for School360 Guru
Effective Date: July 13, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how School360 Guru ("the Application"), a mobile application developed by our software development team ("we", "us", or "our"), collects, uses, processes, and protects user data. This policy applies to all school teachers and administrators who access and use the Application.
1. Entity Identification and Scope
School360 Guru is a specialized educational management tool designed to display daily timetables, schedules, and dynamic administrative relief notifications for verified school staff. This privacy policy explicitly governs data handling practices within the mobile application and its associated cloud-based backend infrastructure.
2. Types of Data Collected and Processed
To provide our core educational scheduling services, the Application processes the following data:
- Authentication & Profile Information: To log into the system, users must provide a specific institutional School Code and sign in using their school-registered Gmail address. This data is cross-referenced with your school's secure profile database.
- Operational School Data: The app accesses and displays professional school infrastructure data, including daily teaching timetables, assigned classes, and administrative relief duties.
- Device Notifications Tokens: The Application collects and uses temporary device tokens required exclusively to route real-time push notifications when an administrator updates or generates relief duties.
3. Data Access, Collection, and Use
All collected data is utilized strictly to deliver the app's core functions. We process your data for the following explicit purposes:
- Validating your identity against your school's authorized user roster.
- Presenting your active daily timetable and scheduling information dynamically.
- Delivering instantaneous system alerts and notifications when changes are made to your daily relief roster.
4. Data Storage and Infrastructure
Your data is handled securely and hosted centrally on Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud servers. We employ industry-standard cloud security practices, administrative controls, and encryption mechanisms to safeguard school database records from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.
5. Third-Party Data Disclosures and Sharing
- No Commercial Data Sharing: We do not sell, trade, rent, or share any personal, institutional, or teacher profile data with third-party advertising companies, data brokers, marketing agencies, or external administrative systems (such as government portals or payroll providers).
- Core Service Providers: We utilize Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM), a service provided by Google, for the sole purpose of transmitting automated relief alert push notifications to your mobile device. Firebase handles this data securely in accordance with Google Play Developer Policies.
6. Data Retention and Account Deletion Policy
- Data Retention: Teacher profiles and timetable records are retained securely in the cloud database for as long as your school institution maintains an active operational contract with the School360 ecosystem.
- Account Deletion: Because this Application is tied strictly to official institutional employment rosters, individual users cannot delete their profile directly from the Flutter application UI. If a teacher leaves a school or wishes to have their profile information removed, the school system administrator (the principal, section head, or IT department) must delete the user from the master database. Once deleted by the administrator, access to the Application is instantly revoked, and personal data is removed from active server access pools.
7. Security Practices
We value your trust in utilizing our management platform. We use commercially acceptable secure communication protocols (HTTPS/SSL) to encrypt all data transmitted between your mobile device and our AWS cloud servers.
8. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our app features or regulatory requirements. Any updates will be posted directly on this page with a revised effective date.
